The books are dark and complex and twisted.
The movie is shallow young adult trash.
I dont understand how a sci-fi mystery horror series built on strong characters like the dark tower can strip itself of its mystery, characters, and horror along with its plot and still call itself the dark tower in its movie form.
If you want to read a fantastic book series, read teh dark tower.
If you want to be bored, watch the dark tower.
But dont confuse the two.
