Too many plot holes and not enough Batman makes TDKR a step-back from the awesomeness what was The Dark Knight. Bale and the rest of the cast are in fine form; Bane, with his Darth Connery voice, makes a formidable and menacing villain; Anne Hathaway shines as Selina Kyle.
But too many suspensions of disbelief are utilized to bring the Dark Knight Trilogy to a close.
