Review of The Dark Knight Rises (2012) by Heath C — 11 Aug 2015

I need to see it again (and in IMAX - had to settle for a normal screening - don't ask) as I saw it badly sleep deprived and surrounded by some truly awful theater patrons who loudly stuffed their faces and rocked in their chairs like coked-out prairie dogs for 2.

75 hours...but...WOW. The regular cast has never been been better and Hardy and Hathaway are pitch-perfect. The critical complaints of "too loud, too much score, too much breakneck pacing" - all crap.

I stand behind Peter Travers of Rolling Stone and IGN's reviews - a stunning cinematic achievement is at hand here. Please don't let the Colorado tragedy prevent you from enjoying one of the best films of 2012.

And do try to see it in IMAX as it was meant to be seen/heard in. Back later w/ a REAL review after a couple of days of sleep and a second viewing.
