A more than fitting end to arguably the finest superhero trilogy ever made, "The Dark Knight Rises" is an explosive, epic, terrifying, and sometimes very personal journey. The next director to reboot the Batman series is going to have a hell of a time topping this.
Strike that, it's impossible.
