Review of The Dark Knight Rises (2012) by Fritz F — 12 Jan 2016
Deep, Emotional, Disturbing, Symbolic, Thematically rich, and satisfying with all of it's grittiness and inspiring darkness in this final tale of the caped vigilante rising up against the unsung acts of power through the corrupt and the evil; necessary evil.
Seriously though, through all this character and development, dialogue and exposition, beauty and pain, action and drama, hope and justice, political allegory and devastating consent - The Dark Knight Rises is an ambitious and perfectly executed, and seemingly underrated masterpiece, that's picked on for the wrong reasons.
It's broken and unsettling, yet ultimately fulfilling - destiny; Like the film itself.
The motive, the mistake, the resolution, the legend.
The Legend Ends, but lives on in our hearts.
10/10.
Rewatching and understanding every little bit did quite well for a connection.
Well acted and well made.
Nolan's best effort next to Inception.
