Review of The Dark Knight Rises (2012) by The J — 08 Apr 2015

I just saw Dark Knight Rises and liked it but I had many issues over all. I thought it was busy with too many plot lines going on at once that made it feel like I watched what was suppose to be split in 2 movies.

Inconsistencies in logic throughout film. A lot of random additions that confused me where it came from possibly due to being cut down from original 6 hour cut. Ending was too cliched for a Nolan movie now and leads me to believe it's not over for 'the finale'.

If it was 20-35 shorter It'd be a more fluid movie. Bane was a good adversary for Batman (hated dubbed voice though), Anne Hathaway played one of the best Catwomen in history and I loved the idea of the plot but execution not fully fulfilled.

I give this a 7.7/10.
