Review of The Dark Knight Rises (2012) by Vahni T — 16 Aug 2016

Okay, all of the annoyingly nitpicky plotholes aside (since the entirety of the web seems hellbent on pointing them out), I would have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed this in the context of the series of films and felt like it gave a satisfying send off for the current trilogy. The interesting thing to me was that the stuff that bugged me in a film setting I would have likely ignored had I read it in comic form, so I don't know what that indicates about either the film or how I take in entertainment.

I'll be curious to see how it holds up on a re-watch, as I feel the inevitable marathon re-watch of all three coming on soon.

Well worth a look.
