Review of The Dark Knight (2008) by Michael R — 22 Oct 2017
The Dark Knight is compelling crime drama with amazing performances and taught direction. In truth the film is better made than Batman Begins on a technical level, but it feels less like a film about Batman than is does about the enthralling and eccentric villain that is Heath Ledger's Joker.
So while it is a triumphant film that truly succeeds in grounding the mythos, it's just not the best BATMAN movie.
