Review of The Dark Knight (2008) by Logan T — 01 Oct 2015
Upon multiple viewings over the years, I have become more and more amazed and impressed by this highly ambitious superhero movie. In fact, I've concluded that this isn't even a superhero movie at its core, with a stark depiction of insanity composing a twisted psychological thriller and a groundbreaking film that has become rightfully noteworthy among influential modern cinema.
As flawlessly constructed as every creative component is in this picture, the obvious standout is the horrifying embodiment and dedication by Heath Ledger to create the most gritty, anarchic, and perversely psychotic portrayal of The Joker.
