"This city deserves a better class of criminal, and I'm gonna give it to 'em.".
It don't get much better than this folks. One of the definitions of a "game changer", not just for superhero films, but for cinema as well. For the longest time, this was my favorite movie until "Casino" replaced it, and just like "Casino" the only word I can think of to describe this film is "perfect". Perfect direction, perfect drama, a perfect protagonist, a PERFECT antagonist, and a perfect conflict. I have seen this film at least six times and have enjoyed it more EVERY SINGLE TIME! Not only is this the greatest superhero movie for me, it is also my second favorite film of all time. I see no possible chance for a superhero movie, franchise, or reboot, to ever be as beautiful as this. If I could rate it higher than 100% I would.
