Review of The Dark Horse (2014) by Joel A — 29 Nov 2014
A simple subtle about a man damaged coming back into society with a hope of connecting other damaged children.
His tool for change is chess & he really empowers street kids for a greater good. It's a gritty suburban film that is large on heart.
It's large on heart low key in scale but shows there is so undeniable talent in NZ, shame this film is virtually unknown.
