Review of The Dark Horse (2014) by Mad M — 20 Jan 2017
Cliff Curtis is mesmerizing in this role as a man struggling with mental illness. He not only finds purpose and redemption in chess, but brings hope and purpose to throw-away children by teaching it to them.
His relationship with his brother and nephew is the emotional key to what truly turns his life around and makes him such a change agent. Inspiring!
