Review of The Dark Crystal (1982) by Bill T — 20 Mar 2009
I can remember, when I was a young kid, let's see, the movie came out in 1982, so I would have been 13 at the time, and seeing like 5-6 minutes of this in the theater and being bored with it, and sneaking into another theater to see something else.
Well, I decided to give this another try. It's not BAD, this type of "find the magic thing so peace can come to the land" sci fi is not my bag, but I have to give credit to Henson and company for producing a much darker muppet movie.
The whole thing doesnt hold up til the end though.
