This film scared the living shit out of me when I was little... I remember I couldn't sleep for weeks after watching it. Watching it now I think it is kinda lame, but I understand how it could have had such an immense effect on me. The world Jim Henson created is so different and so fantastical, you can't help but get carried away.
The movie now is very outdated, with poor actors and silly looking puppetry. But I can't help thinking what an amazing remake they can make with today's technology and actors... I hope someone would take the initiative!
