Still holds up to me. only minor flaw is some of the dialog is a little stilted (then again it was dubbed over a lot of made up gibberish that Henson had to scrap after some bad test screenings). The imagination on display is practically peerless.
Where else has there been before or since an ALL puppeteered film? Kids can watch it still, though the wee little ones will pee their pants in fright. For teens and everyone else above and especially sci-fi/fantasy genre fans, it's a MANDATORY viewing.
