OK I gave this four stars perhaps not on its laurels but on the fact it was a beautiful movie about being transgender. Every now and then a movie comes along and does Justice to what it is to be in a state of confusion of who you really are in regards to gender.
I need to qualify the story with this, every transgender story is different. What made this movie powerful for me, being transgender, was that there was enough commonality to really touch my soul. Tears running down my face moment of camaraderie with Lily.
The girl whom I saw the movie with told me she was very honored to see the movie with me. To my friends who want a deeper understanding of me watch this movie and pretend I am right beside you, it is my honor.
