Review of The Danish Girl (2015) by Janet F — 18 Jan 2016
Beautifully filmed with scenes of Copenhagen, Paris and Amsterdam. Eddie Redmayne did a brilliant job as Lily transforming into a coquette willing to die to keep to her true self.
That said, the story seems detached and we don't really connect with Lily as a person. Rather we fall in love with Gerda who loves no matter what comes.
