Review of The Danish Girl (2015) by Hugo G — 05 Feb 2016
7.7/10.
The movie looks very beautiful, there were some beautiful shots, and the performances from Eddie Redmayne and Alicia Vikander were outstanding. But even though the story was touching and tragic, to say the least, it could've been more truthful to what really happened and not a half truth of their lives. It was such a missed opportunity with such talent involved, because it could've been a great portrayal for the LGBT community to show such an important life story as truthful as it could've been. Nonetheless, it was still a very good movie that if it was to stand on itself it would very nicely, and so it was touching love story.
