Review of The Danish Girl (2015) by Wes L — 15 Feb 2016

I'm pretty sure this will get my vote for best picture. There is no word to describe Eddie Redmayne in this movie. He owned that character like we rarely see. Between his performance here and The Theory of Everything (won Best Actor in 2015), he has potential to be one of the best actors of our time.

To be honest I didn't know a great deal about the subject although I know a number of trans people. I have a much deeper understanding and appreciation for the complexity of their journey.

This is a beautiful film that must be experienced.
