The Danish Girl is all surface, failing to delve deep into a story and person that deserved a richer treatment. Also a more honest one. This film just reeks of Hollywood capitalizing on a current hot topic (the transgendered community) rather than something genuine and honest.
Watch Tangerine instead. As for this one, it's tacky and I hate it.
