Review of The Danish Girl (2015) by Aïko G — 12 Mar 2016
The Danish girl displays an amazing story. The identity crisis that is central in this movie makes for a thought provoking matter. The message it delivers is beautiful on one hand, but sad on the other.
But what really made The Danish Girl so special for me were the locations where it was filmed. Almost every shot, from a grand hospital to a simple hallway, was gorgeous. Painting had an important role in this movie and every background in all the scenes felt like paintings on their own.
Simply stunning.
