Review of The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys (2002) by Rose T — 19 Apr 2009
The storyline is quite a tapestry, brilliant use of cartoon sequences to expand on the main character's inner trials. Excellent cast, the Culkin kid genuinely surprised me with a solid performance and Hirsch is always fantastic.
I wonder if the Nun/pegleg character was slightly miscast - although it may have been my preconceived impression of Foster that really took the edge off her performance.
