Review of The Damned Don't Cry (1950) by Amanda R — 28 Feb 2008
My love of Joan Crawford just confirms that I really am a gay man trapped in the body of a straight woman. This was made after the massive hit, Mildred Pierce (which is brilliant) and she plays a similar character; small-town housewife fleeing her life and taking no prisoners in order to never want for anything again.
Great noir - love the drama, love the music!
