The effects are terrible, the lip-synch is off, the MCU in the cockpit just looks wrong and the dog's name is racist. Who gives a f**k? Still the best of the 50's british war movies (which is saying something alongside Ice Cold In Alex, the Cruel Sea etc.
), stupendous innovation on show. Just hope the Peter Weir remake doesn't suck.
