If you have seen National Treasure then think of this as a worse version of that movie; with a very bad predictable ending. The plot races along with no regard to consistency or story telling making illogical leaps and bounds in order to help the movie finish in a timely manner.
I have not read the book but I can tell you it is better than this movie.
