Review of The Da Vinci Code (2006) by Calvin R — 02 Apr 2012
Brilliant concept but the execution wasn't there. I haven't read the novel, but I know when I see a boring film when I see one.
Although the Divinci Code is thrilling, and it has an o k performance by Tom Hanks and Audrey Tautou but not convincing at times. The story is bleak much like the premise and story.
The Davinci Code may have one of history best painting the Mona Lisa concept in its picture, but the film itself was way to bleak, boring, and a very uninteresting attempt to to Dan Brown's controversial best-selling novel. Skip this one altogether and just read the novel.
