Review of The Da Vinci Code (2006) by Augustine H — 25 May 2012
"Every faith in the world is based on fabrication... Every religion describes God through metaphor, allegory, and exaggeration, from the early Egyptians through modern Sunday school... Those who truly understand their faiths understand the stories are metaphorical.".
I heard a lot of positive reviews about this film and of course, Dan Brown's Novel as well. I wasn't that interested in watching this film at first. Not until I watched Lady Gaga on stage last May 21st at the Arena. Haha! She's a very controversial icon and a lot of religious sects questions her faith and beliefs. Added to her  stigma that she's a bad influence and a legion of the Devil. Identifying her as one of the Iluminati. A secret organization that affecting significant decisions that influence the world. People who do not approve of Christian morals and this organization allegedly controls both governments and multi-national corporations and make song artists make music that send subliminal messages that causes us to go under a trance that make us serve the devil. Do you believe so? It's very controversial. And I respect Lady Gaga's Beliefs. And since, Dan Brown's Novels was one of the source of this juicy info, I decided to watch this movie. And hell yeah, It was amazing! I never thought that this movie would be that good. It's gripping, fast-paced and very controvertible indeed. Should I question my faith? We have an invisible God and we have been reaching for our Invisible God for centuries now. Well, I trust God. I know God is above us all. And he knows how life works. DaVinci Code might lead to question your beliefs but, it's up to you if you want to cogitate on it. Just trust Him above us all. The performances are pretty great. Audrey Tautou was impressive. Tom Hanks looks young on this one. He's amazing. And of course, Ian McKellen. Such genius. The movie runs for 2 and a half hours and every minute of it was Savory. It was entertaingly good. At the end of the film, the best DaVinci Code critic is You. I dare you to watch it. I'm definitely gonna watch Angels & Demons! 5 out of 5 stars! :).
