Review of The Da Vinci Code (2006) by Giovanni M — 05 Aug 2014
Intense adaption of book. While there is violence in the book it is cut down in the movie and spares to manly flashbacks of a main villain character's past. Still has the thrill of a treasure hunt pulsing throughout and superior performances by Ian McKellen and Tom Hanks.
McKellen's performance is the most deceiving and questionable for what truly are his motives.
