Review of The Curse of the Cat People (1944) by Debra S — 10 Jun 2007
Brooding downbeat fairy tale, one of the best films to portray a child's fantasy view of the world. Impeccable black and white photography and brave script. Unique and also a spooky Christmas movie.
Darkly enchanting. Robert Wise's first ever directing gig too.
