Review of The Curse of Frankenstein (1957) by Private U — 18 Sep 2008
One of the most important horror films ever made, this literally resurrected the horror genre upon it's release in 1957. Peter Cushing is superb as the renegade scientist, and Christopher Lee makes a truly startling creature (not 'monster', please).
Director Terence Fisher is the single most underrated director in horror history.
