I'll go ahead and say it. It's The Notebook twisted around a little bit. It's actually kind of a one-trick pony about a guy that is born old and ages backwards and the ending is a plain as day before you even get through the first couple minutes of the movie.
The acting is great, but the film takes a long time to get through. Then again, though, it's telling an entire life story, so it has to be long. Not horrible, but not one of the most memorable films of Pitt's career.
