Review of The Crying Game (1992) by Alicia C — 04 Sep 2007
I think the worthwhile themes of the movie get caught up in the big hoo-ha over the 'secret'... honestly, it's about so much more. Shifting categories of gender and sexuality, explorations of postcolonial politics and the politics of race; and above all, the tender, sometimes painful, and always ongoing search for love and intimacy.
