Review of The Crying Game (1992) by Adam Z — 08 May 2008
What is there to say about this movie that hasn't been said already. Yeah we all know the legendary twist and this truly is a brilliant film. Even if you know the surprise before hand the movie tells a great story.
It starts as a hostage drama and suddenly it becomes this truly unique love story. Neil Jordan does a good job holding it all together and Stephen Rea and the rest of the cast do a great job. Wonderfully done classic piece of cinema.
