Review of The Crying Game (1992) by Lee W — 18 Sep 2012
From the camera shot and music in the beginning during the opening credits you can tell this is going to be a good movie and it is. Essentially a two-part film in one, the first part being a hostage scenario and the second part a romance act.
Both are done in a very unconventional manner and the acting and emotions really resonate with the viewer. This is an example of an essentially flawless film, both plot-wise and stylistically.
