Review of The Crush (1993) by Allan C — 04 May 2012
"Fatal Attraction" meets "Lolita" with The Dread Pirate Roberts as Humbert Humbert. It's actually more "Beau Pere" meets "Fatal Attraction", with Lolita as the crazed seductress.
The film tries to be thrilling and serious, but comes off as just silly and ridiculous. It's not quite "Showgirls" bad, but at least if it was it could have been enjoyable on the it's-so-bad-it's-good level.
