Review of The Crucible (1996) by Perseu E — 22 Nov 2008
Eye had to read the story and write an article for this in school so eye thought eye might as well see the film version, and really this wasn't a half bad story to movie transion at all. Before Danilel Day-Lewis was in the fantasic No Country for Old Men and Their Will Be Blood he was in this little film.
The movie does have a noticeably low production value though because some scenes just ozze like the cheesey sit-comes of the good-ole days. If you enjoyed the written or play form of The Crucible don't hesitate to give this movie a try chances are you won't be disapointed.
