I thought the film was a great adaption of the play, and it was a wonderfully suspenseful drama/thriller. The hysteria was well shown in the film, all leading up to the heart-breaking yet inspirational climax.
The actors were well-casted in this film. Of course, I love Winona Ryder, and to me she plays the best Abigail Williams ever. This is why "The Crucible" is my favorite drama play ever, and both the play and the movie always sends chills running up my spine and gives me goosebumps!
