Yes we get it, people were dumb and still are. Arthur Miller's play is quite clumsy and disjointed. The movie is no exception. Daniel Day Lewis comes off as a very arrogant person, that sort of bleeds into his performances, although he's probably the best part of this, it's quite sad.
Although at times if looks sort of promising and it is well scored and kind of atmospheric, the dreadful acting and clumsy storytelling make this film a miss.
