Review of The Crow: Salvation (2000) by Carlos S — 13 Apr 2008
Salvation could have been a fantastic film, but, again Miramax screwed the film makers over by sending about $1.50 on the budget and re-cutting the film after the fact. The acting is very good, as is the cast.
Mabius is very good as the Crow, very different to Lee and Perez, but still in the spirit of the O'Barr stories. The plot is a bit convoluted, to many subplots, but the revenge plot is worthy of the other Crow stories.
It's biggest flaw is the lack of money, it looks OK, but not as good as the first 2... and the helicopter explosion, who ever put that on screen should be ashamed.
