Review of The Crow: City of Angels (1996) by Troy R — 01 Oct 2007

Absolutley unecessary. The first one is perfect but they had to capitalize on it's popularity by having a sequal with the exact same plot and characters (or at least they try to). An awful performance by the main character and just a mindless script in general.

Few points: Thomas Jane who plays The Punisher in the 2004 movie plays one of the thugs (the one from the peep show), rock legend Iggy Pop also plays a thug who gives a performance so bad it makes Jessica Simpson look decent, Thuy Thrang who played Trini the yellow ranger in the original Power Rangers is also a thug who has the coolest death in the entire movie and finally, the Deftones perform at the end.

Avoid at all costs. In fact, avoid every Crow movie except the first one.
