Review of The Crow: City of Angels (1996) by John W — 22 Feb 2008
A movie that takes a step forward, but a few back. The sets are great, almost better then original, and the music is just as atmospheric and interesting. But then the story element is one of the things that this movie fails in: it's a rehash of the original, with no new elements.
And the acting is mediocore at best. Vincent Perez does a somewhat laughable job of acting, with a changing accent; and the rest of the cast, save for Mia Kirschner in a relatively good working job, are below standard.
