Review of The Crow (1994) by Stephen H — 30 Aug 2012
"The Crow" is a truly innovative film, and it's brilliance is complimented by a superb performance by Brandon Lee. For most of the film, Lee doesn't show much emotion besides a cold, calculating rage, save for a couple standout scenes in which we see the true genius of Lee's performance.
He takes a breath, and instead of a insatiable thirst for revenge, Brandon makes us fully understand his characters sorrow; in these moments, we realize just how human he really is. This performance, along with a thrilling plot and a killer guitar solo makes for one of the greatest movies of all time.
