This is really just an uneven movie. There are good parts and good humor, and interesting characters, but the plot is strangley both everywhere and predictable. There isn't really one main protagonist.
It started as Eep, the rebellious daughter, but then shifted focus to Grug, the stubborn father. A lot of characters had no real puprpose at all and the logic in this movie is too strange for me to follow.
The animation was obviously not top-notch Dreamworks animation. So overall, this movie is weird and only ok, but it is good for a few laughs as a family-oriented movie.
