Review of The Crimson Pirate (1952) by James H — 02 Feb 2005
This was O.K. A goofy colorful pirate comedy. Burt Lancaster smiles more in this movie than in all his other movies combined. His acrobat skills are highly emphasized. His sidekick who was trying to emulate Harpo Marx was kind of annoying.
Christopher Lee is in it in a bit part. Not quite in my line but I can see some of you liking this a lot more than I did.
