If this movie doesn't affect you as a living, breathing individual, you've got a cold heart. What a beautiful, gut-wrenching, totally avoidable yet impossible to avoid disaster. I am not Catholic, but can easily understand the constraints our religious "duties" and "faith" put on us.
There is no right or wrong answer here, which makes for a brilliant, tragic story.
