Review of The Crime of Padre Amaro (2002) by Peter H — 09 Mar 2009
Religion meets godfather, very good film! Controversial insight into how religion can be corrupt on many levels. Great performances by Andres Montiel (Amaro) and Ana Claudia Talancon (Amelia) when there forbidden love and the priests tug of war with the church, causes a series of serious events which spiral out of control...
Excellent film, well worth watching!
