Review of The Creature Walks Among Us (1956) by Ken S — 09 Nov 2014
My favorite moment in this may be when a group of environmental scientists are relieved when they find out the woman on their boat was just shooting random sharks for no other reason than the sheer fun of it (instead of shooting something else I guess).
Yes, once again scientists seek out the Gill-Man, in order to capture and study it...having learned nothing from the disaster it was the last time that happened. This one can be a bit dull and boring, but it has some moments.
The Gill-Man gets burned alive and the humans save his life by removing his gills and giving him the capability to breath air...which somehow makes him slowly turn into a man (that's right breathing air turns your fin hands into fingered hands).
But whatever...the plot is idiotic, but you may find something in this final Gill-Man feature, the last great monster in the Universal canon.
