Review of The Crazies (1973) by Justin B — 23 Feb 2011
The low budget wore me down. I can handle the cheesy production values but it's things like the score comprised entirely of snare drum that continued to irk me as the movie progressed. I also didn't like the way that most of the focus was on the military procedure which shed way too much light on what was going on.
Has its B-Movie charms but I would just recommend watching the far superior remake.
