Review of The Crazies (1973) by Skyler I — 15 Jul 2011
The Crazies may bear most George A. Romero trademarks such as balancing intense sequences of violence with though provoking social commentary of the time, but it's still not one of his best, even though it's one of his most interesting stories.
Yes, it's a Romero film so it deserves some credit, but some parts of it were too disturbing and unsettling even for my tastes. It's still good, just not as good as most of Romero's other work.
