Review of The Crash Reel (2013) by Maddy C — 20 Aug 2016
Whether your a snowboarding fan or not this is a film that will touch you. What was originally planned to be a young riders journey as an Olympic hopefully quickly turns into an inspiring tale of recovery.
However, this is not your average tale of recovery rather than focus heavily on the dark and depressing idea of what could have been it creates a moving and enthralling tale of a boy just wanting to snowboard and be normal.
The documentary allows you to really understand the impact of such an issue on the family members but also allows you to share their emotions both good and bad. Bring the tissues, you'll be needing them.
